If you want to know where you can get your contraception from, or which method of contraception will best suit you or whether you still need contraception if you are going through the menopause, then IPSA can help.
Whatever questions that you may have regarding getting or using contraception, the IPSA clinic is there for you. We aim to give out practical information to anyone who wants to know more about contraception. We work with teenagers, with women who are in their 20s, 30s and 40s and with anyone with a question about the method they are using or that they are thinking about using.
There are many different methods available for family planning (controlling the number of children you have through the use of contraception) and deciding which method suits you will depend on several factors, including your age, your medical and family history, whether you smoke and any medication you’re taking.
During your IPSA family planning consultation, your female IPSA practitioner will go through your history and work with you to decide which method will best suit you. Your IPSA physician will go through the pros and cons of all the available methods and will recommend a follow-up regime for you.
Your IPSA female practitioner will review you at appropriate intervals and supply you with your chosen form of contraception.
Your IPSA doctor will be available to talk directly to you if you are having any issues with your chosen form of contraception.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, opening times may vary and our offices may be closed, please call to confirm.
