EndyMed 3DEEP Skin Tightening and Contouring

EndyMed™3DEEP Skin Tightening and Contouring uses state-of-the art radio frequency technology. Controlled and focused radio frequencies are delivered into your skin, which gently generates the optimum heat level, stimulating your dermal skin cells. Stimulating your skin cells with this procedure encourages your cells to produce new collagen, which, in turn, improves your underlying skin structure, causing it to both lift and tighten. For facial skin tightening:

How EndyMed 3DEEP Skin Tightening and Contouring works

During the skin tightening and contouring procedure, the hand-piece is moved over the area that is being treated in continuous circular movements, and a gel is applied to the area to help with the movement. The focused heat which penetrates your skin causes it to go slightly red and the collagen contracts, lifting and tightening your skin. The full treatment takes anywhere between twenty and forty minutes, and this depends on the area that is being treated. The procedure is both pain-free and safe. The heat that is generated is similar to having a hot-stone massage, and you should therefore experience it as relaxing and comfortable.

After the EndyMed procedure, you can return to your usual skin-care regime at once. However, if you use an anti-ageing skin-care regime (which complements your skin type), combined with high-level, broad-spectrum sun protection, then the results of your treatment will be enhanced.

What results can I expect from my IPSA EndyMed 3DEEP Skin Tightening and Contouring treatment?

The results are apparent following your first treatment. You will see an ‘instant lift’ that is caused by your skin’s collagen contracting. However, this is a short-term response, which can last for about two days following treatment. To build a long-lasting response, you will require subsequent and repeated treatments to produce more new collagen. Some of our IPSA clients do see lasting visible improvements very early on in the treatment regime; optimum results are usually seen at about three months, following the full course of the treatment (IPSA recommends six treatments for maximum results). The results can then last for many years, and this depends on your skin’s particular ageing process. Your specialist IPSA practitioner will probably recommend that you have top-up treatments every three or every six months.

EndyMed™ 3DEEP Fractional Skin Resurfacing

EndyMed™3DEEP Fractional Skin Resurfacing is a non-surgical treatment that is designed to dramatically improve your skin’s tone, texture, wrinkles and fine lines through stimulating your skin’s own natural processes.

During the EndyMed™ 3DEEP Fractional Skin Resurfacing procedure, small areas of your epidermis are removed, and this process allows for new tissue to be formed. The treatment is carried out using radio frequencies which generate an intense heat within small columns.

The EndyMed 3DEEP radio frequency technology acts on your skin through heating your skin at a deeper level (in the dermis region), and this is at the optimum level to stimulate the production of new collagen.

How does the EndyMed 3DEEP Fractional Skin Resurfacing procedure work?

At your IPSA skin clinic, your specialist IPSA practitioner will numb the area to be treated using a topical anesthetic so that the entire procedure is comfortable for you. The hand-piece is then applied to your skin, and is moved across the chosen treatment area in a set pattern.

The hand-piece works by delivering short radio frequency pulses, generating intense heat, and removing the small targeted areas of your epidermis. The skin under the hand-piece is also heated at a much deeper level, and this helps as it stimulates new collagen.

Your IPSA skin-care practitioner will recommend using a soothing recovery gel (available immediately from IPSA’s onsite pharmacy) to help your skin to recover after having the fractional skin-resurfacing procedure. Immediately following your treatment, you will experience a slight redness that can last for up to two days. You might also develop what is called ‘micro-crusting’, which happens when your skin cells renew and the resurfacing is taking place, and this can last for around three to five days. Your IPSA practitioner will recommend using high-level UV protection both during and following your treatment course as this helps to protect your skin.

Your IPSA practitioner will also advise you, during your skin consultation, about the number of treatments that you will need. Usually a minimum of three EndyMed 3DEEP Fractional Skin Resurfacing treatments are required, with four to six weeks between each one. One or two treatment courses per year is also suggested as a way to maintain your results.
